Do you like talking on the phone and hearing a handful of heartwarming stories? The Follow-up Caller volunteer opportunity at LCS may be for you.
Why your help is needed?
After we help clients with back rent or electric bill we follow up with them four times: one month, three months, six months and a year later. The purpose of these calls is to let people know we care, and to let our funders know how effective their help has been.
Responsibilities:
- Make follow-up calls to clients that have received assistance from LCS with back rent or their electric bill.
- Document clients’ responses.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to communicate clearly over the phone.
- Familiar with MS Excel.
- Ability to work with clients showing compassion and respect.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work with staff and other volunteers on the team.
Education:
- Must be working on high school diploma or its equivalent.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+
