Spring Cleaning at Rockwood Mansion

Volunteers, over the age of 18, are needed to give Rockwood Mansion (a small house museum) a thorough cleaning. Volunteers will carefully dust antique furnishings, clean windows, vacuum around and behind antique furniture.

Training, direction and supplies will be provided. Maximum of five volunteers per time slot. Opportunities are Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 am – 2 pm (except Monday, January 20) (4 hours preferred but minimum of 2 hours).

Qualifications:

  • Volunteers must be mobile and able to stand, squat, bend, kneel.

  • Volunteers must be able to lift 25 pounds.

  • Volunteers must be willing to use step ladder.   

Minimum age: 18

Volunteers: 4 hours preferred; but minimum of 2 hours.
