Virtual After School Activity Help
The Choir School of Delaware has launched their program into the virtual world. We are holding our Virtual After School Program Monday through Thursday from 3-5 pm via video conferencing. Each day has a schedule of virtual events for students ages 7-17 including time for socializing. We practice reading rhythm and melody as well as rehearse concert music together. We have volunteers reading stories to students each day. We have volunteers ready to help with academic work schools have started to send out. We can schedule virtual tutoring sessions too. On Wednesdays we hold group rehearsals for everyone. Adults join in at 6 pm on Wednesdays for a virtual rehearsal.
We are also looking for volunteers to lead activities in our virtual after school time. Perhaps a DIY art project or science experiment, reading stories, playing games that would work in a virtual platform like hangman or pictionary, yoga, or maybe you have an idea of your own! The skies the limit. We may be bound by physical distance, but the possibilities are endless if you can open your mind and imagine.
