Old Swedes Historic Site guide
Old Swedes Historic Site is always looking for people who love a good story, and want to share it with others. We are a friendly, supportive team dedicated to educating others about the early Swedish settlement in Delaware. Tour guides (interpreters) make their own schedules, have the opportunity to learn our story, and participate in special events. Other opportunities are available in the areas of event set-up, costumed history-makers for specialty tours, graveyard/grounds maintenance, genealogical research, and office work.
Ongoing Opportunities
- Work during the week as a tour guide
- Assist lead guide with lesson activities, setup and take-down
Upcoming Events Opportunities
- Help with Ghost Tours on October 17th and 24th
- Volunteer for the Premier Party on October 5th in the evening
