Apothecary Garden and Walled Flowering Garden Volunteers
Now that the weather is getting warmer and the flowers have started to grow and the bees are buzzing, the apothecary garden and walled flowering garden at Rockwood Park needs attention. Tasks include weeding, watering, mulching and other garden tasks as needed from now until October.
We encourage morning hours because of heat and sun but we can work with your schedule. Preferred shift for spring is 9:30am to noon. Summer hours would be earlier to beat the heat!
Perfect for anyone who enjoys working outside in warm spring/summer weather and getting dirty! Must be able to bend and perform light lifting.
