http://haitifamilyinitiative.orgThe focus of this organization is a holistic approach to health, education and the welfare of the families in Jacmel. It is our aim to help those most vulnerable, to overcome the trauma they have endured and to promote the psychosocial well being of families in this earthquake shattered nation.Through short-term and long-term agendas built within the Haitian community, we will provide wellness programs in social, educational, mental and physical health care sectors for women, children and families. Working with local schools, faith-based organizations, government officials, and non-government agencies we will work together to help stabilize the foundations of families, now and in the future
