This effort includes historical research, educational presentations drawing up on academic, civic and community resources, guided tours and social events showcasing the area?s cultural amenities. QHHPF's public outreach programs are intended to increase awareness of the area's multicultural history, support and promote viable housing, and economic development. The initiatives are designed to preserve and restore the mixed socioeconomic balance that characterized the traditional neighborhood social life in the Quaker Hill area and shaped its architecture.
