Delaware Volunteer Credit Information
FOR SCHOOL COUNSELORS
Students will register on the Volunteer Delaware website where they will self-report volunteer hours through the online portal. Volunteer Delaware verifies the hours that the student self-reports. Upon completion of the minimum requirement of 90 hours, Volunteer Delaware will send an email to the School Counselor once the 90 hours have been reached. The email will inform you that the student has met the requirements and request one elective credit be placed on the student’s transcript.
All students receiving the credit will receive a certificate of completion from Volunteer Delaware signed by the Governor and the Delaware Secretary of Education.
