Volunteer Recognition
Recognizing and honoring volunteers sets a standard for service, encourages a sustained commitment to civic participation, and inspires others to make service a central part of their lives. The staff at Volunteer Delaware annually hosts two awards programs for those who have gone above and beyond in providing volunteer service in the State of Delaware and also serve as a certifying agency for the President’s Volunteer Service Award. We also endeavor to provide information on other avenues of recognition for those citizens in our state who demonstrate an exceptional record of service and volunteerism.
