Delaware Volunteer Credit Information
To Register:
How to Register for the Delaware Volunteer Credit Program
- Go to the Volunteer Delaware | Delaware Volunteer Credit page.
- Click the Delaware Volunteer Credit Program Registration button and create or sign in to your user account.
- Click the Registration button on the banner and answer the User Group questions.
- Click Join User Group.

Do not combine multiple days of service into one entry.
Delaware Volunteer Credit Requirements:
- Talk with your school counselor before beginning the Delaware Volunteer Credit Program. Your school must approve the elective credit.
- Students must register on the Volunteer Delaware Get Connected site and join the Delaware Volunteer Credit Program User Group to be eligible for the credit.
- Students must complete and report a minimum of 90 hours of eligible volunteer service by April 1 of their graduation year to earn one elective credit.
- Volunteer hours must be properly documented and verified before the Delaware Volunteer Credit can be completed.
- Once all requirements have been met, Volunteer Delaware will provide completion information to the student and school counselor so the credit can be added to the student’s transcript.
- Students who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate of completion from Volunteer Delaware signed by the Governor and the Delaware Secretary of Education.
