Lower Delaware Duffle Bag Project
The Lower Delaware Duffle Bag project attempts to provide a newly made duffle bag to children entering foster care in Sussex and Kent counties. The bags will be distributed by case workers. The duffle bags are sewn by volunteers and volunteers help cut the fabric, drawstrings, straps and assemble kits. We want to add making bags for those children placed in foster care by contracted agencies. Sewing to give to children has become a favorite project. The duffle bags are constructed at Sew Ins.
