Board of Commissioners
The Governor's Commission on Community and Volunteer Service advocates for service and volunteerism to enrich lives and communities. The Commission, reflecting the state's diversity, includes representatives from the public sector, private nonprofits, and the business community. The Governor-appointed Board of Commissioners supports Delaware Volunteers, fulfilling the mission and statutory responsibilities under the National and Community Service Trust Act of 1993. As "Ambassadors of Service," commission members promote service opportunities in their communities, encouraging volunteerism among all Delawareans.
