Summer Art Camp Teen Interns Needed!
The Teen Intern Program at the Center for the Creative Arts is an excellent way for young people to learn about art instruction first hand and to gain valuable volunteer and leadership experience. While there are many opportunities for teens to get involved with CCArts throughout the year, the Teen Intern Program runs mainly in conjunction with our Visual & Performing Arts Camps, which features ten weeks of arts classes for children. You can select from 10 different weeks of art camps available to intern at. You can also choose to volunteer at either the Morning camps (9:00AM-11:30AM) or the Afternoon Camps (12:30PM-3:00PM) or both! So you can volunteer as little or as much as you would like! Camp dates are from June 17th- August 23rd, 2019.
Interns are an essential part of the summer camp experience, providing valuable assistance as teacher’s aides, caretakers, and positive role models for younger students. In exchange for their volunteer time, CCArts interns get to explore their creative talents and social skills by working side by side with professional instructors from a variety of backgrounds and artistic mediums. We have many different kinds of camps available such as drawing, painting, theatre and more!
In addition, our volunteers also receive special benefits, free credits towards membership and classes at CCArts. We are also happy to provide certification and recommendation letters for schools, special programs and scholarship foundations.

By signing this agreement no later than June 1, 2019 you agree to all the information sent in your 2019 Teen Intern package. Keep in mind, availability of specific weeks is based on first come, first served. Your application does not guarantee placement, although we will do our best to set you up with a time that’s available.
