Faerie Fest at Rockwood Park
Dress the part and Volunteer!
There will be a variety of volunteer opportunities during the 2019 Faerie Fest starting with converting the garden into a faerie, troll and gnome wonderland to assisting little faeries, trolls and gnomes with games, crafts or the faerie and gnome home competition; providing information to visitors, and then break down and clean up etc. Feel Free to dress the part!
Volunteers can help for the entire day or see below for specific times. Just make a note of your preference in the notes section of your application.
8am to 1pm - directing traffic help. Requires standing for long periods at a time.
12 to 5pm - directing traffic help Requires standing for long periods at a time.
11am to 5pm - off site parking help. Requires standing for long periods at a time.
8am to 12pm: Set up help. Requires lifting boxes and standing for long periods at a time. Possibly climbing ladders
8am to 5pm - Help with volunteer sign-in/out. Requires standing for long periods at a time.
11:30am to 4pm: Event help. Requires standing for long periods at a time outdoors. Be ready to simply help families have fun.
3 to 5pm: Breakdown help - bending and lifting required
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL VOLUNTEER TASKS REQUIRE STANDING OUTDOORS FOR LONG PERIODS AT A TIME IN ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS. SOME TASKS MAY REQUIRE LIFTING AND BENDING.
