Anime Day - Aug 22
The Art Studio is holding Anime Day!
When: Saturday, August 22
Where: The Art Studio | 310 Kiamensi Road | Wilmington, DE 19804
Minimum age: 18 (however, we can accept children ages 11+ if with a parent or legal guardian)
Volunteers can sign up for a four hour shift or for the whole day!
Registration and parking volunteers will be working outside.
Tasks:
- Registration: We need volunteers to check in anime and manga lovers before they enter the event space and hand out event badges.
Shifts: 9am - 1:30pm and/or 1 – 4pm
- Greeters: Greet everyone as they arrive and help us track how many people are attending the event:
Shifts: 10am - 1:30pm and/or 1 – 4pm
- Parking Attendants:
Shifts: 10am - 1:30pm and/or 1 – 4pm
- Video Game Room Attendants:
Shifts: 10am - 1:30pm and/or 1 – 4pm
No qualifications necessary, just a desire to have fun and meet new people. Able to stand for long periods at a time.
We welcome volunteers to dress up! Wear a family friendly outfit which you can easily move around in. We recommend not having a lot of props while you volunteer.
Anime is an art form originating in Japan. The most famous form of anime is Dragon Ball Z! This year’s Anime Day will feature an exhibition of work by local manga artists, cosplay, anime screenings, video game room and more! Adults and children can come and learn about anime at this family-friendly event.
