Sexual Assault Response Advocate
Hope, Healing, and Empowerment for Survivors of Sexual Violence!
Become a Sexual Assault Response Advocate (SARA) at the YWCA Delaware Sexual Assault Response Center (SARC).
Volunteer to answer crisis calls from our center or from home.
Volunteer to be the on call advocate to respond to local hospitals or police stations to accompany victims through forensic exams and/or reporting.
Volunteer to help educate others by asisting our outreach team at local events to support survivors.
We provide all volunteers with crisis intervention, advocacy training, and hands on apprenticeship.
Help us help others.
