Volunteer Coordinator of Toivoa Coaching Academy

Are you passionate about making a difference in your community?  Toivoa Coaching Academy is seeking a dedicated individual to create and lead a new mental health coaching program with  People with Disabilities struggling with mental health friend’s group. This group will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing mental health care for people with disabilities struggling with mental health.

About the Opportunity:

The leader of the Friends of Toivoa Coaching Academy group will be responsible for:

  • Establishing the Toivoa Coaching Academy Friends group from the ground up.
  • Recruiting and organizing volunteers who share a passion for people with disabilities struggling with mental health that can help with fundraising and recruiting for mental health coaches through our partnerships with Wilmington University, Delaware State University and military spouses,
  • Advocating for and promoting mental health support for people with disabilities within the community.
  • Organizing fundraising and grant writing to support mental health support for people with disabilities.
  • Assisting with Toivoa Coaching events and programs, providing valuable support.
  • Coordinating special projects and initiatives aimed at improving Toivoa Coaching Academy services and resources.
  • Fostering mental health support for people with disabilities.

  • An enthusiastic individual who is committed to supporting mental health and believes in their transformative power.
  • A community-minded person who wants to contribute to the welfare of people with disabilities.
  • Someone with skills in leadership, organization, fundraising, event planning, or advocacy.
  • A team player who can work collaboratively with Toivoa Coaching Academy staff and other volunteers.
