Brandywine Creek's Enchanted Meadows 2024

Calling all costume enthusiasts that love volunteering with children! Brandywine Creek State Park is looking for 20-30 volunteers to dress in costume and play beloved children’s media characters for our Enchanted Meadows Trick or Treat Trail. This is a great opportunity for high school and college students looking for a fun way to get volunteer hours!

Enchanted Meadows volunteers will be needed on October 18, 19, & 20 from 5-8pm. Food will be provided for volunteers.

We have 11 scenes along the trail where characters will be stationed to greet visitors and hand out candy in front of a large painted backdrop. The scenes are: Winne-the-Pooh (Pooh, Tigger), Moana (Moana, Maui), Hogwarts (Gryffindor, Ravenclaw), Frozen (Elsa, Anna), Finding Nemo (Nemo, Dory), Tangled (Rapunzel, Flynn), Hotel Transylvania (Dracula, Mavis), Beauty & The Beast (Belle, Beast), Minions, The Incredibles (Mr. & Mrs. Incredible), and Encanto (Bruno, Luisa, Maribel). Costumes may be subject to change. The park has costumes available for each scene, but volunteers are welcome to bring and wear their own if they fit a scene!

We also need an additional 3-6 people each night to help with check in and candy refills. All students must be supervised by an adult.
