Volunteer Opportunity: Library Care Crew

Are you passionate about libraries and eager to make a difference? The Department of Services for Children, Youth, and Their Families (DSCYF) Library Services Unit is looking for dedicated volunteers with some library experience to assist our librarian with essential tasks in our Administration Office located in Wilmington Delaware. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in library operations and contribute to the organization and maintenance of collections in our secure youth facilities.
As a Library Assistant Volunteer, you will help with tasks such as barcoding books, placing spine labels and classification labels, stamping books, and possibly repairing materials. Your efforts will ensure that our library materials are well-prepared and easily accessible to our patrons. If you have an eye for detail and a love for books, we would love to have you on our team!
