Community Fridge Cleaning Crew
Help Us Keep Our Community Fridges Fresh & Clean!
Our community fridges are used daily by families and individuals who rely on them for fresh accessible food; fresh produce, meals and essentials. To ensure a safe and welcoming experience for all, we're building a Community Fridge Cleaning Crew-- a team of volunteers committed to keeping the fridges clean, sanitized and organized.
What You'll Do:
- Clean and sanitize fridge shelves and door handles
- Discard expired, spoiled or leaking items
- Reorganize and tidy the contents
- Sweep around the fridge area if needed
What to Bring:
Volunteers will need to bring their own:
- Sanitizing wipes or spray
- Paper towels or cloths
- Disposable gloves (optional)
- Trash bag (for any spoiled items)
Time Commitment:
About 30-35 minutes per shift
Choose a day that works for you-- weekly or bi-weekly commitment encouraged!
