Help Keep Patient's Legacy Alive - Create Memory Bears (Newark Site)
ChristianaCare in collaboration with Delaware AccentCare (formerly Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care of Delaware) would love volunteers to sew/create Memory Bears for our patients! Memory Bears are a Special Keepsake to our patients' families dealing with the loss of a loved one. Our sewing volunteers use their incredible talent and a special piece of clothing that belonged to the patient and create the Memory Bear. This bear is a treasured keepsake for all family members, a huggable reminder that the person they love will always be with them. If you have the talent of sewing and the willingness to help others during a difficult time come be a part of our hospice organization.
