https://ardentown.delaware.gov/2017/08/05/welcome-historic-ardentown/Objectives of the Naamans Creek Watershed Association(NCWA) include: Working in a non-adversarial,consensus-building toward obtaining cooperation between local communities, commercial owners and government agencies that own land and influence development along the Creek; establishing the present condition of the watershed; researching the history and conditions along the creek and its tributaries; and working toward restoration and protection of the watershed, focusing initially on the healthy areas and on linking them to provide corridors.
