Charitable Dames of Delaware
http://www.charitabledames.orgThe mission of The Charitable Dames of Delaware is to serve the communities of its members in a way that will aide and encourage those residents in need. It is our mission to be community ambassadors and to seek ways to raise money through social events that will draw in and uplift the community in a positive way. Our goal is to use the money raised for the following: • Collaborate with local fire departments to assist families who have lost items due to unfortunate events • Assist less fortunate children who may be homeless with school supplies and/or school clothes on an as needed basis. • Assist families in financial despair with holiday celebrations • Provide a local (nominated) female in one of the above communities with a makeover (hair style, new outfit, man/pedicure etc.) • Provide a (nominated) deserving local teen with a prom makeover (prom dress, hair style etc.) • Provide items and encouragement to residents of the Delaware Home of the Chronically Ill Nursing Home who do not have families who look after them on a regular basis. * Assist women who are looking to get back into the workforce, to provide for their families, with our Bridge to Success Program WordPress.com Logo Twitter picture Facebook photo Google+ photo Recent Comments Archives Recent Comments Archives Charitable Dames of Delaware The Twenty Ten Theme.
