Disaster Response
Volunteer Delaware is an active member of the Delaware VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster). We work with partners across the state to support volunteer efforts to respond when a disaster strikes. Volunteers responding to disasters are able to do a large variety of important work. Regardless of your abilities or time available, there is a way for you to support your neighbors in their time of need.
If you are interested in responding to natural disasters in your area, including the current response to Hurricane Ida, please click HERE. Someone will respond as quickly as possible. We ask that you do not go to the site of the disaster in person. This can be dangerous and take resources from those in need.
