What began as a collaboration between Volunteer Delaware and PAWS for People in 2023 has grown into a special partnership celebrating the joy and comfort therapy animals bring to others.
These dedicated therapy dog teams and their volunteer handlers have joined us at the Governor’s Volunteer Service Awards, Volunteer Delaware 50+ events, conferences, and other special occasions, sharing smiles and creating meaningful connections along the way.
Their participation reminds us that volunteering comes in many forms, including the remarkable bond between people and animals.
