http://Sickle Cell Disease Association of Delaware@aol.comSickle Cell Disease Association of Delaware (SCDAD) has utilized seminars, counseling, family support groups, a website and publications to educate the community generally, and certain groups within the community specifically, about Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and its ramifications in their lives as members of the general public, parents of children with sickle cell issues, young people near child-bearing age and adults with SCD. The organization has provided activities for those affected with SCD and the community that include social events, educational seminars, fundraisers, attendance at special summer camps for children with handicaps, hospital advocacy, visiting scd patients, participated in Health Fairs and produced and distributed educational materials on scd, speaker at Community organizations, radio and television.
